「Normandy Channel Race」北田浩氏メッセージ

みなさん、こんにちは！
陸上班の清水です。

いよいよ５月１４日からのレースに向け、フランスへの旅立ちが目前となってまいりました。

前回の記事に引き続き、
Normandy Channel Race参戦の北田浩氏からのメッセージをお伝えします。

若さと情熱は永遠に続くと思っていたが、ビジネスに明け暮れ、気が付いたらもう直ぐ53歳になってしまいます。

今は焦って遊んでいるところです。

私の身体能力の衰えを補完できるスピードパワーを持っている後藤くんと一緒にレースができることは、とても楽しみですし、幸せなことです。

クラス40では2人とも新人なので、無事に完走出来るように頑張ります。

I thought that youth and enthusiasm would have last forever.

But after having worked day and night for all my life, I suddenly realised I will be soon 53 years old!

Now it is the time to play and enjoy.

I am very happy and I am looking forward to racing with Hiroki Goto, whose speed power can complement my physical decline.

since we’re both novice with Class40 racing, I will do my best to finish safely.

Je pensais que la jeunesse et l’enthousiasme allaient durer pour toujours.

Mais après avoir travaillé le jour et la nuit pour toute ma vie, je mes suis rendu compte que je vais bientôt avoir 53 ans!

Maintenant, c’est le temps de jouer et de profiter.

Je suis très heureux et en même temps tres impatient de courir avec Hiroki Goto, dont la puissance de vitesse peut compléter mon déclin physique.

Puisque nous sommes tous les deux novices en classe 40, je vais faire de mon mieux pour terminer en toute sécurité.

JORA・チーム貴帆は、5月8日に現地フランス・カーンに入り、
レース開始の１４日まで、さまざまなレースイベントに参加を予定しています！
